You're right, you don't have to go all crazy with coilovers etc, but I probably will at some point

Each to their own, if all you are after is a sensibly lowered look and moderately firmer handling then in my direct experience these particular springs with the stock sports pack shocks should do you nicely. But, as I was alluding to earlier, I'm no suspension expert!

Went to dealer last week to have a wheel balance to get rid of the shaking on the steering wheel at highway speeds.

Been informed by Bilstein, Pedders that Coilovers are the best/safest way to go as the spring is not matched to the shock thus creating some trouble down the path.
