What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)

I've just thought too, i cant guarantee that the wiring doesnt change from car to car so thats another reason to test!

They arent 'stuck' on per say. But i also couldnt get them into the headlights, they actually fit within the crack of the front grill and the headlight, then the top part hidden under the lip of the bonnet..

Vacuumed it yesterday and gonna give the boavista's a bit of a scrub tonight. Was supposed to clean the exterior but since i'm bringing it back to the dealer next week for them to apply the paint protection (which they forgot to apply as they were trying to get my car out and ready asap) i might just give it a light rinse on the weekend.

On the topic of cleaning. I finally got around to waxing my GTI. I used Dodo Juice Lime Lite and Diamond White wax. The results are incredible!

Also, I had the new Harding Performance intake fitted today. It consists of a new scoop (?) that protrudes into the grille, a BMC carbon airbox and filter and a new hose from the filter to the existing intake pipe. It's a little too early to comment about performance gains, but I'll keep you posted. Once again, I cannot recommend Guy and James highly enough. They're always very professional and helpful. Thanks fellas!

What type of air filter is installed in these new intakes?

As far as I know it's BMC as well. Unfortunately I don't know model numbers etc. Maybe Guy_H could help us out if he sees this?

Its a genuine BMC (Carbon Dynamic Airbox) with full venturi internals.- its a pricey little unit, but due to the proximity to the hot bits, Carbons the best way to insulate it

- makes around 10 whp by itself.
