    Update on the Oz Granturismo

    $1852 for all 4 fitted/balanced (without tread)

Not bad considering these are well weighted, look quite OEM if you look at the VW motorsports ($3k for 4 wheels sitting in the back of a factory gathering dust!!!!)

Will get this done before Xmas

Edit: put the 18's where my wheels are....they look too big and quite disturbing so going 17 x 7.5

My wheels are the 17x8's just in case anyone else was wondering.
I've fitted the stock 215/40-17's on them and they fit awesome!

They look so fat! No rubbing at all!

It was a while back since i got the springs but from memory i think it was around $250 landed from orange tuning.
Also if you don't mind waiting a month for the wheels i know a company that sell all Oz wheels for around 20-30% cheaper than rrp. PM me.
Also what colour is your GTI?

It's not a GTI it's a converted TSI going for the Baby R look But flash red mate. Also from Sydney which may not effect my original quote as i'm guessing the company is based in viccy

Fitted new front pads, definitely more bite on this bad boys than the stockies, no more gradual bite than needs a progressive push, these just GRAB! ABS kicks in later too. Will get a more definitive, empirical answer too how much better soon....

Second, I like mine stiff Swaybar doesn't really make the car stiffer in regular driving, it definately limits rear wheel travel but hey, it's not an off roader Yes, I plan on tracking mine at the odd track day and while in regular driving, the effect isn't as noticable, but now, esc doesn't kick in as early and you can feel the car pointing into corners easier when you're up it
definately noticed also that esc doesnt come in as much as it used to
