Hey guys, here's the 6C link to the interior bulb set.

    They're really good!

Just had the Resonator or mid muffler deleted....Car has a nice tone not to lound much like having the sound actuator on but you get that sound coming from the rear rather then the whole car, my sound ACTUATOR is set to 0..... so much louder and the farts are awesome.
Got it done at high tech headers...Top job
Keen on doing this, it's just a baffle around a straight through pipe isn't so no change to flow etc.

Whos done a catback exhaust on their GTI? Is the resonator delete a cut to the pipe or is it a join on both ends?

Speaking of exhausts I'm selling my turbo back milltek for 6c gti. I've lost my stock exhaust so will happily work out with any Brisbane locals a trade deal.

May I ask why you are selling the milltek and presumably going back to stock?

So, took my polo for a wheel align and balance today, just to get a call that the lock nut is missing from the car. The last time someone played around with the wheels was the dealer a few months back as I asked them to do a tire rotation during a warranty repair. Apparently whoever used the lock nut didn't return it to where it should be. And I've just returned from a 3200k return trip to country NSW. IF I had a puncture I would have been stuffed!!

Spoke to the dealer today, went in as they had one sitting there, not mine. I just said fix your mistakes as you played with the wheels last, and it has been missing since and walked out. I am yet to hear from the service manager. Might give them a call tomorrow when I am thinking a little more clearer.

I am DONE with the local guys here, they aren't touching my car again. Every time it goes in they tend to hunt through my car for my OBDEleven dongle, use it and leave it sitting on the seat.. invading my privacy as it normally sits under the seat storage box.. wonder if the technician will like me going through his table drawer without asking??...

Now to get a replacement lock nut and all my diagnostics details so I can take it to another dealer... don't care if I have to drive 2 hours to get there.

Love the car but the dealers are really turning me off the brand...

Recently my boot started making loud grinding noises when lifting the handle to open. Also when closing the boot, it would often not latch on and bounce back up when closing it shut. It would take a few tries lifting the boot slightly and letting it drop, then it would finally latch and actually be "closed".

After a quick google of the symptoms, and peeling back the boot interior cover, came to the conclusion the boot latch was broken (even though physically it looked fine, worn gears perhaps?)

So a quick trip to the local VW dealer and ~$130 later, picked up a new boot latch (code: 6R0 827 505 D 9B9), installed it myself in about 10min and now as good as new!

Thought it would be a good heads up for anyone else experiencing this issue.

No worries. This forum and its posters helped me a lot with my niggles with the car.
