Got them from eBay. Lots of different sellers and different styles available. I tried a couple of different types before I found some I was happy with. Each bulb only costs about AU$1 so not a big deal to throw them away and try again if they're no good :P

Looking to order a K&N air filter (part no E-2997) for mine today. Will also finally look at getting some new headlight and fog light bulbs.

Don't order the filter, it's only worth it if you're doing it for the money saving over time. I did buy it and the only change is a slightly more audible turbo spool. No +500 horsepower, 1000 km/liter or other funny stuff

I'm happy with mine (had to import from the USA). Bit deeper sound, and same with the turbo, BUT I do notice a bit more horsepower in the sense that I can get some wheel spin in D :)

so does mine, with the stock filter and some good tyres too. Anyway, I'm waiting for K&N to design a full intake system to upgrade before chiptuning

after 500 or so km's im going to get the rear engine mount bushing removed and replaced with an OEM (currently getting a quote for a new one, the shop i had the bushing installed at threw out my old one instead of giving it back, was in a bad way when it was removed i think)

I miss the nice and quiet cabin... and hearing the turbo spool up... Although i will miss the grunty feel of the stiffer bushing and the better 1-2-3 shifting.

If anyone is after a SuperPro Rear Engine Mount Bushing let me know, it fits the 1.4 and the 1.2, Its the 70K Street one, not the 80K Competiton one.

Too late - ordered a filter yesterday from the US... For $75 delivered, it's no great loss if it doesn't make any noticeable difference. At the very least, a louder turbo spool is worth it :)

$75? The filter plus delivery? My filter was $55something + $60 for delivery :( but got the filter in 4 days from the US :)

Correct me if I'm wrong guys but unless you have modified your intake shouldn't you be buying the K&N panel filter part no. 33-2830 for 6R TSI 1.2i or 33-2920 for 6R GTI 1.4i as listed on Orange Tuning?

GTI Runs a pod-style filter as standard, not panel filter :)
