Yes, thankfully a known problem and an easy fix under warranty. No big deal.
Not much for sight in designing the original clutches, considering the programming.
Fixing the DSG program would make sense, but as has been pointed out, would be at the expense of fuel economy.
Edit: should have read the remaining posts before replying!
Can't believe they haven't changed the clutch material in all that time! What ARE they thinking?

Your car looks great. Perhaps I shoud have used the 25/40 springs.
Just lowered my 77 TSI with 35/55 HR springs.
Bloody hard ride on our third world country roads. Like stated on previous posts, original shock do not have enough rebound control.
The car thuds on sharp objects such rail crossings, bridge expansion joints and road repair patches. God help me on a decent pot hole.
Think twice about going this way. I will try some adjustable shockers on the back only as it seems to be the biggest "bouncing" problem. Has anyone tried this?????
With 18x7.5 wheels on the way no doubt the ride comfort will deteriate more.

well I have had them since Wednesday and my opinion is so far....
I like the height it is at, I like the look, compared to stock springs I feel bumps a lot more, pot holes are the worst like as Veeu said its really hard when it hits so I'm starting to look out for them more. But there's a road I use near my house and its like a roller coaster lol but I guess you get used it. I'm happy with it its just different .
Thanks mate , look I went with the 25/40 cause I wanted that really low look but not low where I can't drive like I drive normally over speed humps and everything so its good . Yeah I have the same problem with bumps and sharp objects but its getting used too. Personally I didn't want to go KW V1 cause of the price and how much it is i couldn't find anywhere that I could get a good price so i thought go with springs.

Yeah im sure its possibly mate, if done correctly could land you with perfect comfort and performance combination, just have to look into it.
