Thanks to illogitech for the idea of leather arm rest. Feels so much better and cushier
P.S. do you get squeaking when opening or closing? The pleather rubs with the plastic on mine.

Hey Daniel did you get the whole arm or just the "glue on" leather? I got the "glue on" leather and am a bit over cautious to try and "glue" that on... :S

Also on topic, once again let down by Osborne Park VW today. 3 issues reported, none fixed. Although funnily my car is now "producing oil", 4.1L taken out of the of the tank which means it has used negative 100mL in 4,500km!!

I dont think the mechanics are to blame, it seems to be that the Service Advisors just lack basic communications skills. I.e. Actuator rattle has been acknowledged but they refused to order the part before I brought the car in - and now that the car has been in I have a 3 weeks wait to get the replacement (which comes overnight) fitted.

Got the whole top cover replacement. Not glue on leather.
Bought it from the same seller illogitech got it from. I noticed the plastic underside isn't quite the same quality as the original but TBH its quite negligible. A little 303 aerospace brings both leather and plastic up nicely

Thats very strange. How's your consumption been so far? Its been 2500km since service and the oil is sitting at 1/3 from bottom. Better than before but was hoping to have gotten 5000km before top up. I was talking to the APR guys and they said their Polo GTI was about 1L/5000km

Yes they are genuine VW, just bought them from the dealer.

I only got the fronts fitted over the weekend as the rears need modifying, hopefully this weekend though.

The rears fall foul of the diffuser on the GTI so a bit needs to be cut on the flap to have it sit flush.

no i got the cheep once 600 $ for 4, they still white, after seeing them in black they look really good, when i get back im going to put some flaps on too. I have been in Latvia and the people put real big rally custom flaps on the cricked out cars for the snow, it looks real sick. i my do some thing like that.
officer i promise its a stock car.... look my windows are not even tinted.

I got the rear muffler chopped off and put in straight pipe, put on blue triangle, fire extinguisher, removed back seats (most of the rear trim had already been removed)
