Thinking of buying the GTI steering wheel and wiring looms to connect my DSG box to the paddles, where can i get all of these goodies though?
Is coding easy?

Yep, only because I had an opportunity to drive a Golf with the DSG and steering wheel paddles. The switchgear on the golf is considerably closer to the back of the steering wheel so I could then understand why people with golfs hated the stick-on paddles. Being able to hit the paddle with some steering lock on alone is worth it, the finger positions sit in the right place now too.So you're satisfied with the stick-ons, huh?
Ooooh, that's a biggish job. See here for inspiration, I know it is only the MFSW not the MFSW with paddles, but apparently, this is just a coding difference. I'm not 100% sure on that though as there is a small ECU in the wheel that I don't know if it's the same one between all MFSW models of polo...Thinking of buying the GTI steering wheel and wiring looms to connect my DSG box to the paddles, where can i get all of these goodies though?

I installed OPS today (well yesterday) so that finally fits into this thread
And I too am looking at installing a GTI steeringwheel into the polo.
And hopefully a GTI cluster. coding will be an issue, but im sure there will be a way forward.

If you're in need of any 6n1 parts, odds are that I am going to have them (dismantling 2 at the moment)
Will be installing my old amp and sub tonight, purely so I have something running on the new wiring I'm putting in, have some plans in place for a stealth install for a sub and an amp, which I have started to make already…
-Edit for the Amp install-
Cables run, amp installed and running perfect (found a fuse to use as a remote wire connection)... no audio signal out of high to low adaptor for the rca's, so i gave up at 2am, think my adaptor is faulty...
That and waiting for my Forge items to arrive today to fix up the bov for the 1.2, cannot praise their help enough in trying to help solve the issue (the venting under half throttle due to the waste gate spacer, they seem to think it’s because of the possible increase in boost is more than the idle spring can handle). Will definitely keep my eye on them for anything else they develop for the 1.2!

So I got a call from my mechanic saying your BMC Sports Air Filter is in. I don't remember ordering one I just wanted a quote. Felt bad so went down yesterday and got it installed and I must say there is about a 2% increase. Really nothing at all except a tad more responsive with the throttle...
I feel it would be a lot better if I had a tune (which is what he also said) weird I really thought I'd get more sound coming from a sports filter, didn't notice anything different at all.
Has anyone else gotten a Sports air filter installed?
