Weird gargling/rumble noise from 6R GTI engine

How do guys new user here!!

Only noticed this over the last few days but when i rev the car from 1200-1400 rpm (very short range i know) there is a deep sound like someone gargling water/ rumble noise!! it first happened a few days ago but went, then today when using the car i heard it again. Drivability of the car isn't effected however it just seems odd. The car is standard other than coil overs.

    Anybody have any ideas?

Sorry if something like this has been previously posted

Thankyou in advance and here is a pic of the car

It might be some vibrations from the sound acuator that amplifies the engine noise you hear in the car. Sometimes I can hear something in my car that sounds like a broken speaker...

Oh I assumed there would be a sound file as it's pretty hard to diagnose something you haven't heard...

But yeah are you sure it isn't normal noise made by the sound actuator? Mine makes a gargling/roar noise at low RPM's under high load all the time.

Agreed.. sounds like it might be normal sound actuator noise.

Or the actuator may be loose and vibrating. A few people have had this fixed under warranty.

Thanks for the replies guys, the actuator sounds like a good shout i will check it after work. it may have possibly been knocked when installing the coilovers.
