    So, yeah, get over it!
    I cycle my cars every 3-4 years and I'm hardly rich. There are many benefits to not keeping your car for 10+ years and I'm sure a lot of people on this forum would agree.

    I have always felt dealer delivery is a rip, if I buy a TV from Japan I don't get charged a 'JB Hifi delivery fee', it's already been worked into the price as it should be with cars.

    I agree it should be in the price. Why they disclose it, is beyond me. IMO it is not economical to change car every 3-4 years. But hey everyone is different. I use my T5 for business, so it is fully depreciated and it is a waste of money to buy a new van even every 5 years unless someone does 40,000km per year.

    How many km do you drive per year? (just asking)

    I would have thought it was quite obvious from my reply that I read the whole of his "apology".

    Well on my Impreza that I traded in for my Polo I did 75,000 KM's between Nov 2006 and May 2010. However that was when I had a company car so the Impreza wasn't used all that often. As of November this year I no longer have a company car (some weeks I did 1,000KM's in the company car). I have done about 10,500KM's since May in the Polo...

    I can understand not buying a new work vehicle every 5 years, I would be the same. But since it is a personal car I want something that's fun

    This is from the end of his post;

    "Once again I apologise to GTI JOE for his experience and thank him (although not the form of which I prefer to receive a complaint) and wish him all the best with his car in the future. If he or any other member wishes to discuss an experience in our dealership (good or bad) feel free to email me at dblackwood@bayford.com.au

    Regards,David Blackwood"

    We are talking about unreviewed site.... not peer reviewed reference books - lol

    I reckon half the questions on this site could have been easily answered if the originator of the post had:
    1. RTFM.
    2. Spoke to the dealer.
    3. Read the purchase contract.
    4. Typed the keywords of the query into Google and done the research themselves.

    In 1924 terms these are nothing like the revered texts in the library and more the "letters to the editor" of the local rag

    Is this possible? I checked APR's site and didn't see the Polo GTI mentioned.
