    Trying very hard to understand my 2015 Polo GTI but really need some help

    Looking to fit a blow off valve and a cold air intake however i cant seem to find a cold air intake for the 2015 polo gti. Also where the BOV goes there seems to be a stock BOV but there is wiring connected to it. so in case it is some sensor i have not fiddled with it.

    anyone with experience in fitting a cold air intake or a BOV to a 2015 Polo GTI, please help.

    Thanks.

    Oh dear.... I have an opinion but I'll keep it to myself

    HG have a intake suitable for the updated Polo GTi as below;

    Wont be long and there will be some intakes available. As for the BOV, they are all electronically controlled these days by the ECU which is why there is a wiring loom attached to it. GFB (Go Fast Bits) make some aftermarket BOV to suit the VW's but not sure if they have a specific one to suit the new Polo yet.

    NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    To put it simply....

    IF YOU FIT A BLOW OF VALVE YOU WILL LOSE POWER AND ADVERSELY AFFECT THE PERFORMANCE OF YOUR ENGINE AND MAY ALSO LEAD TO PREMATURE WEAR AND FAILURE OF COMPONENTS.

    I hope that makes it clear enough.....

    GFB do a kit that MODIFIES your existing DIVERTER VALVE so that it performs BETTER than any crap you buy aftermarket. All it does is modify the existing one to hold boost better with slight throttle lift-offs and between gearchanges however, unless you are going stage 2 or greater with a tune, it's pointless to do.

    Nothing you will buy aftermarket will work as well as the factory diverter valve, it's that simple.

    Listen to gavs - DO NOT bother with changing blow off valve keep it original

    As for CAI the one that Vex mentioned is the right one for it if you are after a good one.

    As for changing it I would recommend this guy (Martin) https://www.facebook.com/www.JKU.com.au or any private VW/Euro mechanic that knows what they're doing.

    I hope this clears it up a little bit.
