Great news prcurrie what a long wait. I've been tracking mine and it arrives in Brisbane 7th December. Not sure how long the process from customs to car yard and my driveway but I'm hoping for just before Christmas.

Meant to be a bit damp tomorrow mate, when you take the run through the main ridge area, she can get a bit greasy, even in the dry coz of all the farm run-off, as I found out once.....

Yes I know! Rain in the morning but hopefully clearer in the afternoon.

Well!!

*I've had a smile on my face for the past 24 hours!! *The car is just as much fun as I remember. Friday had perfect weather for the run in. I went around Red Hill and did the running in procedures there and it was so much fun. Sports mode is just too good!

I took run up Arthurs Seat as well and on the way down I did notice a noise / shudder as I breaking hard and took a corner. I was in Manual mode of the gearbox so I don't know if the car was just confused. Anyone experienced that?? I felt it through the brake peddle.*

The car was perfect inside and out when I picked it up although the parking sensors were all scratched up so they are going to fix it. Some other things I've noted that don't seem to be working:

- Auto locking of doors doesn't happen after 15km/h
- Optical Parking Sensors don't come up on the RCD-510 screen so they need to fix that

Other questions I had:

- Does the climate control details come up on the RCD-510? It does in the Amarok but that's the RNS-510.*
- Can the coming home lights feature be turned on?

All in all, very happy so far! *Still getting used to the DSG in Drive mode (just not as responsive off the mark) so I think the sports mode will be used for while! *

Let's hope the running in helps the oil consumption but the dealer told me to come back at any time and they will top up the oil if need be.*

Sounds like the ABS to me, modern cars do seem to deploy it much earlier

Barloworld Glen Waverley has a GTI (5dr/Flash Red/Xenons/Sunroof/Leather/Comfort/Audio) available if anyone was interested?

They told me it was still available (which was surprising) when I picked mine up last Friday.

I received my VIN number from the dealer today, however I am having no luck on the W&W shipping/tracking site. It just says "No records found".

Anyone else experience this?
