I Knew yours couldnt have been far!! Gee you got yours before me after all that Mine is at the Dealers and has been there since last week they just had to install the bluetooth etc... Now I just can't get there til Saturday to pick her up ITS INTENSE!! Hope you are loving your new set of wheels!!

So Grand Mercury is due to dock in Melbourne on 9 November (it keeps getting earlier - YAY). Melbourne people with Polo's, how long has your typical wait been from the boat docking to the keys being put in your hands....?

My dealer just has to put in bluetooth and an iPod cable....

I bought mine from Barloworld glen waverley.Took about 10 days - 2 weeks before i could pick-it-up. - Like you, I had bluetooth installed (also had weather shields fitted) - excellent idea! so far it, the bluetooth, works a treat!

Mine was 21 days.... GTI JOE off the same boat would have been 5 if he went up to Orange country earlier than he did.

Mine is being unloaded off the boat as we speak. I have called the dealer today in a friendly way to let them know that I know the car has arrived and that you should as well, and that there should be no fluffing around . Will post an update here when dealer contacts me to organise delivery.

Took 8 days from the ship docking in Melbourne. Ordered out of Volkswagen Bayside.

Just spoke to the service manager at my dealership. He was saying he received an internal bulliten yesterday advising that VW Global has increased the allocations for Australian bound vehicles which hopefully means more Polos should be getting to the country sooner!

I know someone who ordered their car (Polo GTI) the last week of March and it has a production slot next week (week 44) which means it should get to Oz early January. Not sure if anyone else ordered around that time - but it seems positive that things are moving.

If this is factual and he's not spinning some PR BS, then this is very good news indeed.
