Generally pretty accurate, if not a bit early. We should be ok because the holdup generally comes from the Port Elizabeth dock
Many thanks Gavs. Seems im waiting on exactly what you are! Dealer is saying 26/5 (port Kembla) i think plus roughly 2 weeks for delivery to Newcastle. Fingers crossed hey... Are these ETAs generally accurate or could it be earlier?

Yeah, looks like Tombarra is a day behind schedule, held up in Port Elizabeth.
Has anyone heard what's happening on the docks in Melbourne?

I called my dealer yesterday since I've hit the 3 month mark (ordered at the end of January). Been trying to get some sort of ETA on the car since then (3dr GTI, Comfort, Xenons). Spoke to someone different this time, apparently the guardian of the NADCON system at the dealer since he looked it up himself whereas my sales guy always had to go and ask someone else. Found out I haven't even been allocated a build spot yet...
Think I'm going to have to pry myself away from lurking in here for a while. I've pretty much already got a shopping list of value to the car before the factory even thinks about building it!
Probably not a bad idea leaving the forum for a few months. I spent weeks worrying myself into a fit because there was no info, and it actually made it much worse checking into this forum every day hearing about how everyone else was going.
I was in the same position as you. Almost same spec car, dealership was completely unhelpful and refused to admit the obvious (car hadn't made it past "dealer spec" stage and wasn't arriving this year). I'm glad I ended up finding a car in stock, but man, it's a cruddy feeling going through what you are.
Yep I agree. I've seen countless members here work themselves up into a mental wreck due to checking in on the forums constantly and worrying about every small detail. Too much info is not a good thing when you're waiting. Get off the internet, focus on your work/family/other hobbies, and come back once you have your car and can enjoy it
