I'm using Firefox, so it should work right? But all I get after I press the track button is "No record found", and have been getting that for the last couple of weeks... grrrr

Some of the earlier guys (Gavs and Frostee I think) said on this thread it took 3+ weeks before their cars appeared on the tracking site.

    Mine took a week.

    Hope this helps.

Until the sticker with the barcode has been scanned as the car is berthed onto the boat you will not be able to see any record on the WW tracking site. You may be lucky to see it the day that your car is booked for a vessel but that generally updates the same day and time as when your car is loaded onto the boat.

Apples, I had a "moon roof" in my last car and I always wondered why it was called a moon roof instead of a sunroof... Lets just say it only took a couple of sunny melbourne spring days and I soon found out why! You will more likely enjoy it in winter rather than summer because in summer, with that big, open expanse, lets just say SPF45+ will be required.....

The other good thing that sunrrofs are useful for is for letting farts out

Oh and I forgot to say I had a week 18 build date and it appeared on the tracker site on 23/5, if that helps alleviate your fears that they were planning on driving your new beasty here.

So heard from the dealer today (as he promised - still don't believe a word he says...!). Said that VW Global has given Australia more allocations for the GTI and my car is looking to be produced in August / September - which means it still doesn't get it here till December. Let's hope it's early August....!
