Looks like we're siblings so to speak! At the very least will be under the same star sign lol

I have to thank you for the direction you gave re giving VW a wake-up. I saw your email you posted and decided why not, so used all the contact details you provided. Whether or not this and other stuff done to get media happening (I got on 3AW same day Car of the Year for Polo was mentioned as I knew it would get back to VW via Media Monitor etc.) made a difference I guess we will never know, but seems to be a good outcome for us.

Thank goodness Victoria has a Lemon Law - just in case my anoyance to Head Office results in a crap car off the line. Only joking

Do you have any thoughts about what you're going to do re Bluetooth? I've taken a look at the VW offering and although a little pricey I do like the integration.

Not sure of the etiquette here re discussing this, and am happy to move to another thread or discuss 1:1

    Thanks Frostee,
Yeah, I don't know if all our correspondence had any effect, I would like to think it did, maybe it all just went into the vaults of the X-Files at VG HQ
I haven't made any decisions yet on aftermarket stuff, I'll just wait and see what other more experienced members are going to do before I take the plunge.

Corey, yeah your spot on, last NADCON screen dump had me at Current SGW Determination stage. That's where that little sucker dot is at.

Interesting to see how many of our cars will come on the same ship? Any news on your car yet Frostee? Has it hit the production line?

LOL, no I haven't called the Dealer again - don't want to be too much of a pest. I'll drop him a brief e-mail today and see if there's any update. Will let you know!

Frostee, Joe and I are on the same production run and the same boat, would be cool if yours was the same as well, though maybe not because it means yours will be coming 2 weeks later than expected... Boats only sail every 2 weeks though I think...

Nah - it's the largest car shipping port in Europe. Multiple "RORO" ships leave daily (roll-on roll-off). In the MK6 forums, we've seen instances of people with same production week ending up on different ships. Volkswagen contract Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (as do Merc and BMW and several others). W&W Logistics subcontract other companies including Eukor Car Carriers who have at least 20 different RORO ships called "Morning <something>" (my one was called Morning Camilla).
