lol... are you serious?
You'd surely still be on your P's if you can't remember who Mulder is... and if you were on your P's, you wouldn't be driving a GTI!
WTF? You can't be that old, Fox Mulder, X-Files...another of his useful sayings.."Trust No One"

Back on topic....
As you wait for your Polo to arrive it's amazing how you get drawn into things like finding a first car for your 19 year old daughter lol
I checked status again and of course no ship info for my VIN.
When do we expect the next candidate vessel to depart?

Finally, NADCON shows a build week for my car! Week 19, so 10 week later than promised, but at least it's moving along.
Polo 77TSI Comfortline with Sports, Audio, Comfort Packs in White.
Did the daughter car buying thing earlier this year for my two daughters, thank God they paid for the cars, I was just the advisor.
Still hopeful on the Toreador for the 29th, as Gav said it's still in port at Zeebrugge, Belgium. It should be in Bremerhaven tomorrow so just maybe, some of you guys may get a confirmation
Hey Frostee and Gav what detailing kits do you guys have or suggest? I am very old school using Polyglaze and Turtle, I know...I know enthusiasts will be cringing, they aren't the best products for detailing. Does having our Polos white make a difference?

I still have a whol heap of Zaino stuff left so will probably use them. Am thinking of taking my car to Final Inspection Campbellfield or Protech in Boronio. I'll have them do a detail to give me a solid base to work from. WIll seek their advice whether the Zaino Gloss Enhancer and Grand Finale Detailing Spray is ok to use. Otherwise, will take th Detailer's advice as to what to use in between professional detailing which I will do about every 12 months.

I was being fasicious, o course I know who mulder is!
Detailing stuff, you're right, polyglaze and turtlewax really aren't great. I currently use the zaino z2 sealant after a wash and maybe claybar, this stuff generally lasts around 4-6 months, especially after applying a coat of wax or 2, I'm using Mothers paste wax, not the purple one, their red competition one. Would like to get some P21s or the dodo juice wax for white cars. True, white isn't as deep in colour and doesn't really show as much of a change with the waxes, but a waxed car always looks far better than an unwaxed car

Thanks for the car detailing info Guys,
Toreador just left Zeebrugge, next stop Antwerp?. Yeah I am a bit perplexed, I thought it might have been Bremerhaven? considering all the cars it has to load
