LOL is someone at VWG having a go at us AustrALIENs?? See the last line of your picture.
Here's my info the dealer sent me.
As you can see, contract back in Aug 2011, but not added in the system till Feb 2012 They said due to the "VW fairshare ordering system" they couldn't add it till now. Funny timing that they couldn't add till I chased it up with them

I guess that's how ze Germans spell Australia, fair call I guess, we don't call them Deutschland
That's a bummer about the delay from the dealer, you gotta wonder hey. The ETA's are interesting though... from the point of the dealer entry you're looking at a 4 month build and delivery time frame. Looks like I won't have any boat buddies though

That's why I still don't think it's fair that VWGA allows dealer orders to stay in the system when there are customer orders that could replace them.
Yes looks like it literally "missed the boat"
So from what I've read elsewhere, a VIN number should be assign at the "Handover to Production" step?
Yay my Polo has been loaded onto the TOLEDO and is making its magical journey now.
Bremerhaven -> Baltimore -> Panama Canal -> Aus
Edit: Oh and you get your VIN at the handover to sales checkpoint

Congrats....you have done well with your time frame from order to ship
Mine is showing ‘intTransfer' and hoping its now somewhere on the train tracks heading from Pamplona to Bremerhaven (as opposed
to still sitting waiting for a freight train)
I had week 7 build so hope maybe next week to start tracking or the week after surely?
Cant wait to start tracking for something to finally do (June 4th 2011 feels like a lifetime ago) LOL

Depending on how bored you are, you can go pretty deep down the rabbit hole tracking wise.
Looking at my ETA sheet, the Polo's get put on the trains on the same day they exit the factory and take about 4 days to get to Bremerhaven. Mine spent about 2 weeks at the docks and it showed up on the tracking site the same day it was loaded.
If you're really curious, you can look at the schedules for the boats at Wallenius Wilhelmsen - Customer centre - Schedules
Search by ports -> Select Germany and Aus -> Bremerhaven and your port (Bris/Kembla/Melb) then you have a list of Boats and their dates.
Then you can check out the Webcam and then Marinetraffic.com, there's a great explanation of it here
Bremerhaven auto port web cam - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum - E90Post.com
If you just enter WVWZZZ6RZCY in the track and trace site you can see a lovely list of all the Polo's sent on their way. In fact the ANIARA which has just left after the TOLEDO has some Polo's on it heading to melbourne so you may be in luck! Apart from that theres the QUEEN SAPPHIRE leaving tomorrow and a bunch leaving next week.
