OK another update. Only when TMC channel is set to 1024, the unit saves TMC Data packets to the log file (which I enabled in GEM). The TMC packets are valid. I wrote a short script to decode them, and below is a sample:

I guess the issue is with location database not being present on my head unit. Can anyone confirm?
