TMC Related Info in Green Engineering Menu

Don helped me enable the green engineering menu in my head unit. There, there's a wealth of information about TMC.

I can see that KIIS is broadcasting TMC messages, and in fact I can see those messages in the log file the head unit creates on your SD card if you turn the appropriate options on. Those messages look like this:

    11:11:42.281 [Info] [J5e.Radio.FmDivmain-STM] TMC Data0: 2a1a85434e957a00 Zeit(ms): 699 | Group Message, GSI: 0 | Pi: 2a1a | Count: 7

My question is, is there anywhere in this engineering menu that I can see a list of all encryption keys used by TMC? Some sort a key table... So I can try different keys on data and find which key is the correct one for my unit...

If you have software 2xx on your unit I have a feeling the keys are not part of the software load.
I've tried 241, 245 and the newest 252 and they don't work with TMC.
    6xx firmware always works.
I'm happy to share the software update files from 252 however I feel they would be useless without the corresponding 6xx files to compare.

    Btw 1024 isn't the key.
It's just the setting for Australia (suna). It just tells the unit to use the installed decryption key as specified by selection 1024.

    Hi

I know 1024 is some sort of an index, and not the actual key.

I'd be delighted if you would share the update files with me. Can I update my unit without any issues?

This is the version info I found in GEM:

That's a totally different software family to the 2xx and 6xx.
That's the first time I've seen the software version for the polo version.
Seems like it's in the same boat as discover media from the Tiguan (as well as the golf alltrack and R wagon interestingly enough) with no installed TMC keys.
    We need the 6xx firmware.
I'll see what I can find.

I guess GEM reports software version differently. In Software Version screen it says 245.

Just curious, is 6xx compatible with my car at all?

Ah ok in that case it's likely the same.
I have NO IDEA however if what I have is safe to load on your unit.
    It has been modified.
You can use it at your own risk but I have no idea if it will brick it.
    6xx is not compatible.
