common fact accessories dont add to the value in 2nd hand trade in.. so if you are going to do it I would suggest you find someone with 17" Denvers and take your 18"s off. Then when the Polo comes along, give the brand spankers to you new best friend and put the 18's on the Polo....
The assumption is that the Polo GTI is also borrowing from the Mk5 GTI parts bin.
ok, i have no idea how many kms your GTI has done so it's hard to say. whatever the local market dictates for a similar car (ie: kms 3dr and DSG) then bang on an extra 1 or 2k for your options and that's about right.Quote:

as for polo gti pricing.. no idea.
if i was you? stick with the Golf and focus on paying it off quickly to save on interest. (hopefully your loan allows early repayment without exit penalties)

You've already copped a depreciation hammering when you drove out of the dealership with the Golf, no point doing it a 2nd time with the Polo. A better strategy would be to decide to keep the Golf for another 5-10 years.
Get a 2nd job & pay down your loan or save for whatever your other goals are. If you don't want a 2nd job then do a budget & stick to it.
Also, maybe plan out what your goals are over the next few years (travel, education, bonging) so that you can prioritise other major/significant purchases (ie: if you knew you wanted to travel before you bought the Golf, then you probably would have bought a cheaper car).
Another small piece of advice: Never borrow money for a depreciating asset unless you can claim a tax deduction on it.
