Yes, the tyre pressure indicators are standard on GTI. Comfort pack is therefore cheaper on GTI, as one would expect..

Ok, well that answers one question

Crap, I was sold on the fact the comfort pack came with auto headlights too! Damn it, even though I had teh brochure, I never fully read it!

Wonder how much the Satellite Navigation RNS510 costs and if the price varies dealer to dealer.

I also wonder if it's really worth getting an inbuilt Sat Nav (dealer fit) over a standalone GPS unit (aftermarket) when the the inbuilt Sat Nav costs so much more. Thoughts?

Just about any modern smart phone (android especially with google maps) will give you sat nav function.
I am not quite sure of the benefit of a $2500 built in system that doesn't offer all the latest features.

Well that's one way to blow 2.5K on nothing. Think I might save the money and use the Melway. Getting a GPS/Sat Nav is only justified if you plan on getting lost!

The RNS510 will set you back exactly $3600. It's good to have because it integrates everything in the car (e.g. phone, iPod, MFD), albeit very overpriced. The same unit in the Golf only costs $2400 as it's a factory fitted option and not a dealer fitted option.

I think the sunroof is a worthwhile option, it just adds that little bit of extra enjoyment and fun to an already excellent car.

    hi Mr_Bzr,

similar to you, I bought a new Polo today...I post a reply in the new sticker, see below...what do you think..?

"today i signed a deal for my first polo tsi (my first vw actually)... I am going to pick up the car in about 2 weeks and I made a few decisions but would like to know from your point of views?

    1) is it worth to get 3 years extended warranty for around $850-$900? (i am not really going to as I got an extra free year anyways if i service in the dealership)
    2) i got the naked polo tsi DSG, i.e. no sports/comfort/audio pack. reasons are: I am fine with the 15in wheel, and I do not need auto dimm reverse mirror. (I got sunglasses), and I listen to the FM/AM the most in the car (i.e. ABC news/Fox FM)
    3) I picked blue colour... the dealer dont have blue in stock, all they have are white, silver, black... but I had all those cars previously so i want to try something new... but after viewing the threads on this forum and cant find people with blue polo...i am wondering whether I should stick with the blue or...?
    4) I got free bonnet protector + boot net + mat ... I am wondering if anyone here got/asked any free accessories and why?

    have a nice day."

The only free accessory I got was a GTI key ring... the dealers were real hardass about giving me anything for free zzz.
