Are there two different types of foglights for the Polo 6R?

    Hello everyone,

Been doing some research on retrofitting fog-lights to the Polo 6R (directly to battery via relay).

Seems like there are two different models available? Is the one without integrated DRL an original VW part?

    eBay unit without DRL

Complete set from JP supplier with integrated DRL

there ARE 2 different types indeed, but the one above without the DRL is not original vw. Both versions have the same size and should look more-or-less the same

    What Dave said.

The lights are identical, the vechicles with static conering lights has an extra addition in the loom for these bar the GTI with Bi-Xenons.

I'm with you on this, shape looks weird.

The design of the reflector and lens looks really really dated.

Friend of mine went ahead and purchased the set from eBay.

Took some pics and I find them appalling.

Quality is not good, plastic feels thin and looks cheap. Light unit looks really dated.

Its not an original VW part.
