Steering wheel off centred and pulls to the left

Now I have read that a wheel alignment cannot be done on my 6r gti..

What happened was I ran over some ripples on the outside lane going around a roundabout. After that my steering wheel is slightly off centred to the left when driving and obviously pulls to the left. What could this be?

I want to take it to a suspension shop but i dont want them to fk me around. Is it just the toe out a bit?

    Cheers

Wrong You can get the front done but not the back without working on the subframe.
You must have hit something pretty hard to do that.

All cars pull slightly to the left due to the camber of the road Drive up on the crown and see what it does

Only started to pull to the left after that incident. Not a slight pull to te left either. I can only let go off the steering wheel for a second before i have to pull it back. Those ripples are quick big..

Go to the suspension specialist for your wheel alignment. I often find the tyre shops not knowing what they do, even those you expect they should know.

They'll have to shift the front subframe probably. Also check you haven't damaged a tyre.

I dunno how people do it, I hit stuff all the time & my suspension never moves. Must be lucky

All you can adjust is the subframe and the toe. Saying that the wheel is now off centre as well as the pulling leads me straight to the tie rods. You cannot adjust the camber on these cars. You cannot adjust the caster either. Yes, due to the assembly slotted holes on the ball joint you can get a few seconds worth of camber adjustment but it's not worth mentioning, especially not in this case.

Something is bound to be bent.

Have the wheel alignment checked. My money is on a lack of positive castor on the left side, caused by a bent LCA.
