    I must be be easily pleased, after driving his Golf my brother finds the brakes in my 94 626 rather lousy, so I tend to think the brakes in my new Polo right of the factory floor will be great just like my brother's Golf. Will soon find out.

    your pads should hold up very nicely - what brake fluid are you running (as in, brake longevity over a decent run)?
