Running it in - use the torque hard while low in the rev range and short shift into next gear early to repeat the hard acceleration. Do not rev it to high RPMs until well and truely warm and then only for short spells. Stop/start city driving is often said to be best to run it in.
The aim is to use high combustion pressures to push the rings against the bore to bed them in before the bores glaze over.
Having said that any damage or good has already happened by now as the first few 100 Km is what really counts. The way Patricks drive it on the docks most probably gave it it's first good workout.
