Snow chain - 2011 VW Polo GTI - Need Help :)

I am tempted to just run winter tyres on some old 16inch steelies if I can find a set cheap.

You could always find a set of 16" Denvers from the old Polo GTI if you wanted to keep "the look".

Yeah I found a set if oem vw 15" wheels off a early golf. Though have yet to mount winter tyres to them

I know this doesn't really help with the question, but when I go to the snow I just get the bus from the bottom - no need for chains so no $20 rental, no $40 mountain entry and it's $50 - so straight away you're quids in and you're saving the fuel it takes to get up - and if you're like me where you can't get car insurance, it's more relaxing haha
