Service - Sticker or dash????

I have a TSI 77 DSG.........

I first got the car a month ago with 7,700km on the clock, being an ex demo it had been in the hands of vw epping since new in April 2010........

They did do the 1,500km oil change......stamped in the book......

When i got the car the service sticker said it was due at 15,000km or 19/04/2010......my purchase date 13/05/2010

Now when i turn the car on and press the button on dash board it tells me i wont need a service until 19,000km based on my driving habits.........im not grandma but not a hoon either........key is it had not been driven much before

I have checked the oil once a week since a got it and not a movement on the stick......the oil looks normal.....no sludge etc....

I will book it in for a service soon.....but just wondered what was more accurate?????

I might have to get some driving tips from you; my dash tells me I need to get a Service at 10k.
