Where do you get a tune to bring the 77TSI up to 100KW?

Chosen to keep it. The $30 a week extra option didn't consider I'd be paying 180 for a two year extra period so it was about 18000 extra I'd end up paying. Not work it for 30kw and some pretty seats.

The tune is by DNA. I've ordered it and the laptop should be here next week. Looks to bring the power up to around 100kw with earlier torque delivery etc. info on forums here somewhere just search for it. Lots of guys running the tune and everyone seems pretty happy.

So yeah the plan is tune , some fat wheels, custom down pipe and forge intake. There's some gti seats on eBay but they look really grubby so I might give them a miss

not really sure on the forge intake, seems like you would be replacing the factory box that is disigned to such in cold cleaner air, with something that doesnt really appear like it would give any hp gains. would make a nice induction sound though

I have done the GTI interior and steering wheel on my 77TSI and I can definitely recommend it. The seats are great and the tartan actually looks okay on the standard door cards of the TSI. The steering wheel (I waited and got the manual one so no paddles that you cannot use) was by far the best though!, its a very nice addition. I will eventually change the chrome piece at the bottom of it from GTI to an R one, as I am not a fan of those people who attempt to make their car something it isn't (like putting M3 badges on a 318i for example), but the seats i cannot help, they are embossed with GTI.

If you're in need of any 6n1 parts, odds are that I am going to have them (dismantling 2 at the moment)

The door cards on a gti are plain grey also anyway.

In my opinion you've made a good decision to keep the 77kW TSI. I traded my 12 month old 77kW TSI for a new Polo GTI earlier this year. Sure, the GTI looks awesome and has greater performance, but for my use at least, the TSI offered plenty of poke, still looked really smart and was good value for money. The GTI was significantly more expensive, had a harsher ride on the knackered roads in Christchurch, plus it used 2L of oil in the first 3,000 KMs (and that's with the new CTH engine). I became nervous of what was in store for me with this car, so have learnt an expensive lesson and sold the GTI privately and am now waiting for delivery of a new 103kW Golf Highline, due in about 2 weeks.

Yeah I'm happy with my desision. The polo is a good car and looks the part with lowered suspension etc. may upgrade to a golf gti or a mk5 r32 in the future but Toyota 86 are getting cheap now
