Sale price for 2015 polo gti manual

Hi guys I'm thinking of selling my gti for a golf r but unsure on market value.
My polo is white, manual, satnav, parking sensors and camera etc. it's got 35k on it with full service history, just about to fit new front tyres.

What would be a good asking price? I tried VW and the trade in was $17k!!!! Which I think was a bit low... so thinking private sale is best.

I paid $23k for my GTI which was an April 2015 model with 15,000km which i bought in November last year. So 35,000km 2015 model now i think ~$20-22k. The dealer would resell for around that but they need to make around $3000 on a car sale to make money by the time they get the mechanic to go over it, all the paper work involved, paying their staff, building costs, electricity and the cost of it being on the lot as well as the advertising.
