    Running cables through firewall

So I'm trying to run cables through my firewall at the moment. It has stumped me.
I've found the grommet hole everyone talks about under the windscreen wiper passenger side but can't get to it on the inside. I've even taken off the glove box.
Any one got any tips or help?
    Cheers

On the top side of the passenger's side chassis rail where it meets the firewall.

There is also a hole behind the glove box lower down. I can't really describe it but that's what I used to route my audio cables

Get it from the fuse box under the steering column Plenty of spares in there or buy a piggy back fuse from Jaycar and stick it in one of them in place of the one that's there Don't use airbag or similar fuses though

If you Google "Polo fuse map" you would have got this The green one is a Polo but the original site had a map as well

Took 125milliseconds to find this https://www.google.com/search?q=volk...w=1536&bih=745

    Google is ALWAYS your friend

Aright Ill do the work for you Look at the bottom row of fuses. At the right end are mini fuses The rest are full size

Look at the third from the right end bottom row full size fuse. It is number 27 in tiny numbers underneath it Get a 10 amp piggy back from Jaycar and stick it in there Hook whatever you haven't told us that you are fitting onto the bullet connector on the end of the wire that comes off the back of the fuse.
No you can t solder a wire on to an existing one Ive tried and am used to soldering electronic parts.

As long as you aren't hooking something that requires more amps it will be OK

It would be nice to know the full facts when you want help. Like what you are installing etc.
