rev limiter?

is there a rev limiter in the 77tsi when in neutral or park? i was playing around with with it today and it wouldn't rev over 4k rpm. is this normal?

yeah its got a limiter in P and N
but i found that if im moving and i pop it in N, there's no limiter

i find it kinda stupid you can bump the gear selector into N but not S.......

Amen to that, quite a few times I've gone to upshift (thinking I was in manual) and put it into N.
