replacing licence plate lights with LED

hey guys, so i just go a pair of R Dash LEDs for my 6R. ive gotten the lights out of their fixtures but i dont understand how to unclip the stock lights from the wires, i can only manage to take the bulb out. i know some have you have done this already some im just looking for a bit of help. its probable something really obvious that im missing

never mind, the answer was brute force, as always

on a related note, i tried replacing the headlight bulbs, ive got everything done exept getting the bulbs out. the manual says to just pull them out. doesnt seem to work and i really dont want to break it
