Nothing to worry about, it just means that they have completed the software update on your DSG. Have a look for a thread regarding the update on here, the update has improved life with the DSG especially on hill starts.
picked up my polo 3 days ago and iv just noticed a sticker on the drivers side door seal next to the dash that says
recall code
37G7
date completed
10/07/12
what does this mean?

A 37g7 campaign is just a gearbox program campaign. It is done on every Volkswagen model with a DSG gearbox. If you own a 77tsi polo you should also have campaign 24v9 which is for a wastegate spacer to help correct a factory fault.
Any chance of posting a picture of this? It is just that my Caddy is supposed to have had a software upgrade but I cannot find anything in the paperwork (other than the invoice) to say that it has been done. The invoice also has a statement to the effect that they have done everything they can and that if the condition persists, it must be standard for the vehicle!
I have this in my new Polo GTI

Are there any recalls for a December 2011 picked up GTi?
Called the dealer and they said no but I think they are not being truthful with me.
2011 Polo GTi
I work at a dealer in Melbourne in the parts Department. As far as I am aware the polo gti might have a 37g7 campaign but that would be about it.
