+1 on the wow, and any legality issues.. sounds like this would be over the db limits?
Someone mentioned replacing stock with a smaller muffler, would this net a result maybe somewhere between that and stock, or is it just a total trial and error thing.
Those wheels and ride height on that car look sublime as well.

Doesn't seem that loud. Should be under the limit
yep dsg7. and yes center reso still in place. only rear one removed. its definitely not that loud. it's pretty tame compared to some commies and falcs
I have a custom dump pipe, hi-flow cat and resonator on my manual 77TSI, which still has the stock exhaust after the resonator (I was chasing power improvements in combo with a tune, not a nice noise). Sounds pretty good under load above 3,000rpm, however after a year of tolerating the drainpipe gurgle at idle/low rpm and a particularly annoying rasp at 2,200rpm, I'm keen to replace the remaining stock exhaust. If getting a nice noise at all revs is as simple as straight piping it from the resonator then hell yeah, I'm doing it.
How does it go at constant revs on the highway Marcus, not too drony?
