    Anyone got the entire system straight through with no mufflers?

    Well I will probably be doing a rear delete now, so in addition to my mid resi delete I will have a straight through system haha, we will see how this goes...

    Well I would say due to the fact that you have no turbo, quite tinny, but that's just speculation.

    The only reason it sounds good on the GTI, TSI (and I would guess TDI) is because the turbo gives the engine a very low tone with base from the tourqe created. The fart created on the gear changes is a controled misfire when it cuts the throttle to change the gear.

    Hey don't loose hope, really it's just trial and error. I did the middle delete on mine (1.2T) and it sounds pretty..."crap". It's not bad but not what I expected. Another member of this forum did a Rear delete on the 1.2T, pretty unheard off and it sounds like what I expected only better so now I have to give my local exhaust guy some more business XD.

    So it's trial and error.

    1.2T=Rear Delete (not loud enough removing the Mid Resi)

    1.4GTI=Mid Delete (could be too loud without the Muffler)

    well should i remove middle or rear first? what are your thoughts nomad?
