RCD510 Questions...HELP!

PLAN: Swap RCD310 to an RCD510.

Questions:

1. Where can I find instructions for the install?
2. Is it tricky to connect it up to the steering wheel controls?
3. How much can you sell the unused rcd310 for (guess i'm worried no-one is gonna buy it)?
4. What's the deal with codes, that is, do I need to receive a code with the rcd510 to use it (Guess the same would go for
giving a code to the person who buys the rcd310, am I right)?
5. Can you use your ipod with the rcd510 if you buy the connector cable? I may have misunderstood, but what is the point
in getting MDI for $250 factory fitted or whatever if you can buy the cable and plug it into the unit from your ipod?

Also, I'll probably check if my dealer wants to sell me an rcd510 unit since apparently they have lots of them from customers upgrading to rns510's (might get it cheaper ). Otherwise will have to get it off ebay (think it's $340).

1.Use the instructions in this forum for RNS install its pretty much the same except you dont need to install a GPS antenna. (its so easy took me like 15minutes)
2. no its all automatically activated
3. no one wants RCD310s i still have mine sitting on the floor next to me
4. yes once you plug in the RCD510 you need to enter the security code make sure the sseller provides it
5. your car wont have the MDI so youll have to either retrofit the MDI, use the existing AUX cable or fit bluetooth and then stream through bluetooth

Go ask your dealer if they would be willing to throw a RCD510 in to the deal. No harm asking.
