    RCD510 Aux issue?

    Hey guys,

So I just picked up my Polo last week, and have been mucking about with the RCD510 audio system to try and get my MP3 to play music through an aux cable.

I enabled the aux options through the settings, so am now about to select 'aux' when on the 'Media' selection, however when I plug the cable into the port just behind the center cup holders, it doesn't seem to work.

I've tested the cable just in case, but it seems to be working fine on my civic,

I just wanted to see if this sounds like an actual issue, or have I just missed a step in getting it set-up?

Make sure nothing is plugged into the SD card slot or the MDI
Push "Media" on the hard buttons
    Push "Media-In"
Plug in aux cord and hit play on the device you have plugged in.

Unless you have a different RCD510 to me, that's exactly what I do.

Yeh, this is what I do as well, so it sounds like there just might be an issue with the aux port in my car, I'll get the dealer to have a look at it this week,

Thanks for your help here mate,
