    Power steering fluid?

I have a 77tsi polo and was wondering if there is some form of power steering fluid reservoir?
When driving slowly and turning i.e when parking/ in multi story carparks, turning the wheel makes very noticeable noises, as if low on fluid (my old car did this).

Is this normal? Or should I be able to check fluid levels somehow?

Ps car has done 4000 kms since new 7 weeks ago

I'm assuming you mean the whining noise on steering? It's the elektrical power steering pump. Mine and many many others have it.

Yeah that's the noise. So it's normal then?

Yeah the pumps are electric so you can here the pump working away when your turning at slow speed.
