Potholes ......... bugger

Driving home through Sydney Olympic Park last night I managed to hit a pot hole and take the front driver side tyre out. Hopefully no other damage but has cut the side wall of the tyre.

It was right in front of the ranger station. There is now witches hats out, blooards, lane closed etc etc.
They have taken details and told me to ring SOPA

So... a few questions if any one has some answers.
I hear that the Dunlop Supermaxx is hard to get??

Can you get them on back order??

Otherwise I will have to go for 2 new front??

What do you reckon my chances are of getting SOPA to pay for 2 tyres??

On a side note - wasnt someone else in the same boat??
Anyone looking for 1 tyre?? Under 10,000 kms

Just state to SOPA that you would feel it would be safe/logical to replace both front tyres due to uneven tread/tyre wear.

Regardless they're in the sling RMS had to pay a friend of mines car to be repaired (wheel buckled, punctured tyre, steering rod replacement, suspension change, new dampers, new springs).

It would be a lot more cheaper for these monkeys to repair the roads...oh how i wish they would do a grit compound concrete road instead of asphalt...

Sydney Olympic Park gets some terrible potholes after heavy/extended rain. Saw some beauties yesterday!

The never get fixed properly either - they just chuck some bitumen in the hole and pat it down. Of course they dont bother to clean up all the gravel that has accumulated beside the hole.

Reckon I saw a dozen holes about the place

Got an EFT overnight for my tyre

Apparently they didnt have a Rick & Compliance Manager
When he came on board was resolved in a matter of days.

Whatever - pretty happy with the outcome
