Post engine replacement/rebuild

My engine rebuild should be complete by the end of next week and I was wondering if any problems were fixed after these rebuilds.

• Oil Consumption
• Black Soot/Exhaust
• Misfires
• anything else?

I would also like to know, how you ran in the new engine/rebuild. Take it easy vs drive like you stole it?
Would be interesting to know what was fixed with these rebuilds if anything.

I noticed after my engine rebuild that oil temperatures rose to 100C much faster, and were always higher than before. This is a good thing from what ive been told.
