    Polo TSI first service.......

Polo went in this morning for his first service (15,000km / 1 year).......at VW epping, vic.

When i booked in the car i requested a loan car so i could get to and from work (Golf 1.6 TDI DSG, only 700km).....

Service guy asked me how the car was going, said to him that it was going well and the only niggle i had was the rattle from behind the dash board at idle, on the service report they confirmed the noise and diagnosed it as the fuel lines rattling in the chassis rails.

They have booked me in for next week to fix the fuel lines, should only take an hour and done under warranty............will give me enough time to have a good look over polo gti

As for service cost it was $351 including wheel rotation, detailed report.......

After i picked it up i had a good 30 min drive back to work, noticed the car drove better, the DSG seems more intelligent now and there is now more mid range shove.....

Overall i had a great experience.........
Next: Mk 5 Golf R32 (in blue please)
Now: 2014 Skoda Yeti 90tsi Ambition TECH PACK
    Had: 2012 ABARTH 500 esseesse
    Had:2010 77tsi DSG7, Comfort Pack, Reflex silver

Congrats man, looks like the service department might actually be a better area to deal at that dealership, I personally won't let anyone touch my car from there again after the crap I went through and I know GTI JOE won't either.

Just letting you all know I just did my first service through VW South Yarra. I went there because that's where I bought my Polo from and the experience was quite ergood.
Can't complain about the customer service, and noticed the car does drive better. I also had the rattle behind the dash looked into and seems to have dissapeared so far.
    Overall, quite happy.

Ha ha, I wouldn't worry because the regulars will know where I got my car from and I'm sure it will take a lot of convincing for people to start changing their opinions

I once saw a post when I first registered to this forum and thought "when did I write that?" Oh right, "gavs" not "gvas".
Anyway, I'm sure there are plenty of good and bad stories out there about all dealerships, just giving my opinion based on my experience...

    I'd recommend Burwin VW.

I'm about to buy another Polo off them. Ahhh, my savings.

Who said that?! Don't tell them I'm here!

I only wanted the answer to "The Monty Hall Dilemma"!

The Straight Dope: On "Let's Make a Deal," you pick Door #1. Monty opens Door #2--no prize. Do you stay with Door #1 or switch to #3?
