Polo TSI 2010 problems - snapped timing belt

Has anyone had theirs back to the dealer for this after having it 'fixed'? I reckon mine was quiet for about 4 months and now the same noise is back just as prevalent as it was the first time around.

I'll have to call burwin VW again and get it booked in, but just wanted to hear if anyone else has had to take it back after having it 'fixed'

That's interesting. The week I had mine done (June I think) they revised the service schedule to include a redesigned chain tensioner as well as the new case guides. You might have missed out on the tensioner.
