who is running helper springs in front and who isnt?
im running fairly low, and im sick of the ride quality, its way to harsh without helpers.
will having the front helpers reinstalled, and raising her up a bit soften things up? im looking at moving to a 2 finger gap, as opposed to a no finger gap.

Personally I think it looks ridiculous if you lower your car so much that the curvature of the wheel arch looks significantly different to the wheel. You need at least 18s.
Unfortunately the design of the polo is such that this means anything more than an inch is too much.

The issue you speak has nothing to do wheel size at all. It relates directly to the design of the rear bar arch which does not flow with the contour the quarter panel arch or wheel/tyre for that matter, like it should.
So the more you lower the more pronounced the issue becomes as the wheel moves forward under the arch and therefore the gap at the rear becomes even larger.
Does that make sense?
