If it is anything like the Golf R, then it should be superb...wonder if it will be 4 motion!
Please place in Polo R thread if there is one
"He also confirmed that a Polo R model would be introduced at Geneva. The Polo World Rally Car, which will be campaigned in the 2013 WRC, has been developed under Hackenberg, and his team had input into the Polo R, too."

This is about the only VW coming that I would swap my current GTI for ..... problem is I'll needto have it tuned as it is less powerful than the GTI
I'll wait for final specs to come out at launch in Geneva in March 13 as I'm still confident of a 1.6T instead of the 2.0T ....
Current: 2023 MY23 T-Roc R Lapiz Blue + Beats Audio + Black pack 2018 MY19 Golf R manual Lapiz Blue + DAP) 2018 MY18 Golf 110TSI (150TSI) Trendline manual White2014 Amarok TSI Red (tuned over 200kw + lots of extras) 2013 Up! manual Red 2017 Polo GTI manual Black Previous VWs and some others ...
This was at Worthersee!? I didn't see it
Awesome car though - if it comes in Manual it's a seller for sure. But still if you don't tune it you could just buy a tuned 9N3 and you'd be getting the exact same power at the wheels...come on VW more horses!!!!

Torque steering beast is what it will be *hides at the top of a large concrete tower* There will be a lot of unhappy drivers...less grip etc...
I think i'll be doing a test drive once they arrive. AWD would have been epic!
I reckon 1.6TSI might be possible as well - if they're using it in the WRC which the cars based on then it's a chance. Also the Polo is the city car, putting a guttsy 2.0T over a 1.6TSI would be against the trend - we'll see at Geneva I guess!
