This is about the only VW coming that I would swap my current GTI for ..... problem is I'll needto have it tuned as it is less powerful than the GTI

I'll wait for final specs to come out at launch in Geneva in March 13 as I'm still confident of a 1.6T instead of the 2.0T ....

This was at Worthersee!? I didn't see it

Awesome car though - if it comes in Manual it's a seller for sure. But still if you don't tune it you could just buy a tuned 9N3 and you'd be getting the exact same power at the wheels...come on VW more horses!!!!

Torque steering beast is what it will be *hides at the top of a large concrete tower* There will be a lot of unhappy drivers...less grip etc...

What 1.6L T engine do VW have?

The power output rumoured is probably new MK7 Golf GTI spec.

I could go along with 1.8T as that engine size is available.

I reckon 1.6TSI might be possible as well - if they're using it in the WRC which the cars based on then it's a chance. Also the Polo is the city car, putting a guttsy 2.0T over a 1.6TSI would be against the trend - we'll see at Geneva I guess!
