The Golf R DSG is 'ken fantastic! And that's coming from someone who has always driven manual.

So good infact that i've delayed purchse of my next toy (a non-VW VAG car) for another year to wait for the DSG

I don't believe the production "R" Polo will have a 2.0T in it. Already VW has been using lack of space for the demise of the manual in the GTI.

They also, have gone to great lenghts to develop new 1.4 and 1.6TSI engines (1.6 current WRC Polo) and these will be used at some point in time. New 1.4TSI is due in the Polo GT soon in Australia.

I'm expecting the Polo R to be AWD and 1.6TSI, regardless of what the current articles say ..... VW has done all the work required to produce it ....
