Sounds pretty darn good, should post in the other polo sections they may want to bring their pride n joys with them

Or we could meet at the old Shipping terminal in the city (Near the rocks the giant customs tower) take the bridge and head to kurin gai national park take a baby BBQ or something and throw a few snags, chops etc.

We have plenty of time to organise this

13-14 is looking solid for me at this time, are we possibly going to post this to the other polo users here or just for the new MY10 and M11 Polo owners?

Ok 13th 14th it is, we can work out specifics soon.

I think we need to invite all polo's out because if it's just 6r's I think there will only be 3 of us :-p so Ill post an event this arvo some time and plan exactly where were going. Is there any good spots to set up a BBQ in kurin gai? I think meeting at the shipping terminal would be cool. Defs get some good photos from there.

Ku Ring Gai Chase National Park - Natural Attractions

There is a nice drive from the highway through the hills to a place called Akuna Bay, it has a Marina i will need to phone up the rangers and find out the details for that part of the year as a lot of Back Burning may be taking place.

The fee to enter the park is $11 (as of last week going) there seems to be a BBQ facility in the surrounding parks.

Edit: Spoke to the National parks Authority here is the Details

There is a BBQ (Electric BBQ present) area at the bottom next to the booth for entry into the National Park, there are no speed humps in this parkland (so low vehicles need not panic)

The fee to enter the park is at $11 it basically covers unlimited parking, entry to all places in the National park, apparently there is a drive to Bobbin Head which is off of Mona Vale road.

Discuss more during the week i gather? and whoever would like to lead the event please make an event thread with your email details, mobile # in case some monkeys get lost hahaha.

Good to see you n00bs wanna get stuff organised

Down to Robbo pies is a good one, via Macq Pass - Loftus Oval to Robertson New South Wales - Google Maps. Loftus Oval has mostly been our meeting spot.

Robertson New South Wales to Wollongong New South Wales - Google Maps. This is a good second leg, stopping in at the Friendly Inn at Kanga Valley for a great pub lunch.

To be honest the last thing I ever want to do when on a drive is worry bout bringing BBQ gear with me. Water, cash, UHF (normally someone elses) my car and I'm set.

I'm dieing for a run as my car has been rubbish, with still a few more bits to fix.

    aus liebe zum automobil
