    Polo Headlight removal?

    Guys can someone help please? how do u remove the headlight on these cars??
    Truck dropped a stone and got a deep scratch that is impossible to polish out. Might have to change it but wanna know if i can safe money
    on fitment.

    A couple of screws on top of the headlight and then just pull straight out to the front of the car

    So u dont have to take down the grille and bumper ??? will have a peek tomorrrow, night time in south africa,

    Thanx for the info.. took it in this morning and they tried to polish it but its to deep. Eish! a new light is almost R4000.00. There goes my insurance no claim bonus
    Have to wait 5 - 7 working days for delivery as well.

    If it's that deep, just polishing won't fix it. You could give it a bit of a wet-sand with some super fine emery paper, this won't remove the scratch 100%, but it will round off the edges, making it less noticable. then, you can polish it up to get the shine back...

    jip they did. place in johannesburg specializing in this sort of stuff. there were even a few r8 audis an some ferraris in the shop

    keep in mind that there's a hook underneath, so it's good to push slightly in so that it gets out of the wedge and then pull out of car.
