We just ordered a Candy White, Bi-Xenon, Light and Vision Pack 5 door yesterday eta July in NZ - guess we will wait and see.

Burmed - re your other options - we drove all those (and more) when looking this time - the DS3 DSport was a close run thing, it's a sweet drive, I didn't think the interior quality or resale was worth the NZ$42k sticker tho.

As far as I can tell it does pretty much everything the VW offering does yet has better phone compatibility and is cheaper.

Just ordered Candy White 3-dr, no options, for $29893 drive away, expected delivery July...

GTI Joe, thanks for PM, by the time I got back to salesperson, car had already sold and was told none for 12 mths.
Ended up ringing around in my neck of the woods and secured this one, still was able to change colour.

No problems Tigga1, that's a pretty good price, hope all goes well. We have had reports, no, more like rumours, that there may be delays. Hopefully we should know this week if this is true, the last thing we need is VGA to start jerking us around......again, so fingers crossed for the moment

Dealer told me he is not even allowed to take any orders for Golf GTD, Golf Gti and Polog Gti in short supply...
I remember something similar when MKV Gti first came out, took about a year for supply to come back to normal, vaguely remember VGA getting an extra shipment to Oz.
Anyway, not too worried, hopefully get the car before Dec...!
meanwhile happy to keep driving my tiguan...(-:
